“Schneider Electric has been using Syntax Workplace English since September 2009. Donna has been a fantastic resource for our employees and managers. She has contributed to exceptional gains in our employees' written and verbal skills, as well as increased their overall confidence in their abilities. I would highly recommend Syntax to every organization that is looking to provide a valuable benefit to their people.”

“Syntax Workplace English has been a positive and greatly beneficial decision in our office. Our workforce reflects the diverse cultural demographics of our community and as such, a significant number of our staff have had difficulty with the English language. This situation created a major obstacle in the smooth everyday operations of our business. We have intelligent and well-educated people within our company, but without a strong working understanding of English, their productivity and efficiency was limited. In a short four-month period, Syntax Workplace English has managed to greatly improve writing, speaking and comprehension within these staff members. Without a doubt, Donna and Angie's professional and charismatic teaching style has not only made our company more competitive and profitable but has won our workplace family's gratitude and loyalty.”

"I can use one word to describe my learning experience with Syntax Workplace English: Excellent! I took the Presentation Class to hone my skills in the English language, as it would be valuable for the business context. Through the classes, I became more conscious of the way I would speak, and the style with which I would present myself. I learned many new business terms, idioms and expressions, which are useful tools that I can apply in my work environment. In addition, I learned how to better articulate myself with emphasis on intonation and pacing of speech. All these language tools serve to enhance my public speaking skills, which will go a long way in my architectural career. Thank you, Syntax Workplace English!"

"What most impressed me about Syntax Workplace English was their professionalism. Before my private English lessons, they tested my English skills to determine where their efforts should be allocated. This made for a really efficient course of customized classes. At the end of the session, they did another assessment of my performance. This not only evaluated my progress and improvement, but more importantly, what I need to work on in the future. The road to improving my English skills has no end and there is a long way for me to go. With the evaluation, I know where I should focus my attention and how I can efficiently and effectively achieve my goals.

I put my language skills to the test when I held a seminar on filing tax returns for international students at Trinity Western University. I was initially told I could speak Chinese but this was not the case as the room was filled with non-Chinese speaking students. Before I knew it, two hours had flown by and I was completely astonished since I’d never spoken English for such a long time on a single occasion in a formal setting. The session was filled with impromptu questions and I responded by myself entirely in English. It made me realize that my learning experience with Syntax Workplace English paid sound dividends on my tuition fees. Much appreciated, Angie.”
