Acquire the skills that will help you understand what you are hearing. Each class focuses on a different listening discrimination target: linking consonant-vowel, vowel- vowel, similar and identical consonants; reductions; deleting “h” in pronouns; flap T; word/syllable deletion; and contractions, among others. After studying and practicing the listening target, we engage in active listening comprehension using a variety of audio sources.
